Portable Wound Vac Therapy Operation Procedure
Step 1: Debride The Wound
- Remove the necrotic tissue and contaminants.
Step 2: Clean The Wound
- Wipe off blood stains with Hydrogen peroxide
- Clean skin around the wound with Saline
- Wipe the skin with 75% alcohol to degrease the oil
Step 3: Apply The Wound Dressing
- Cut the foam to fit the wound
- Cover the wound with the foam.
Step 4: Apply the Film
- Cover the foam dressing and the surrounding skin with the film
Step 5 Cut a round hole
- Cut a hole of 1-2cm in the center of the film,
- Stick the suction cup to the film, just above the hole.
Step 6 Connect to the device
- Connect the pipes to the suction device and start the therapy
